Q. WHAT ARE THE DATES?

Q. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
DTS will cost close to $12,000 in total
Lecture Phase: $4500 (includes $1000 non-refundable deposit.)
Outreach: $5000 - $6000 (outreach costs vary by location.)
Food: $2,000 *Food is only included during your outreach phase. Each student’s lifestyle and spending habits will differ, however we recommend raising around $2,000 to cover all food expenses during your 3 months of lecture phase.
Our team will work with you to rally your network to raise the necessary funds.

Q. IS FOOD PROVIDED?
Food is not provided during the lecture phase, but is included during outreach. Expect to raise additional funds for food during your DTS lecture.

Q. WHAT ABOUT HOUSING?
We have a network of community houses in Nashville. We believe everything is better in community so every student will be placed into one of these community houses with other students and staff of the same gender. We are excited to encounter God not only in lectures but also in community!
***Rent is included in the tuition cost.

Q. IS LOCAL TRANSPORTATION PROVIDED?
No! We encourage you to bring your car to DTS if you are able. If you do not have a car that you are able to bring then you can expect to help chip in for gas with those you frequently ride with.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
DTS is a 6 month intensive training course. Each week will consist of training sessions, worship and prayer, outreach, and skill development. DTS carries an intentional schedule that flows seamlessly with our established Fire and Fragrance community. All of us contribute to serve and are flexible as needs arise. Our expectation is that during this experience, you will set aside any extra-curricular trips and engage wholeheartedly to seek God with the YWAM community here in Nashville for the full experience.

HOW CAN I RAISE SUPPORT?
Fire and Fragrance is a community of self-funded missionaries. If you are accepted to join us we will help coach you through the fundraising process as you prepare to join the YWAM community!

ARE THERE ANY OTHER COST INVOLVED?
You will be required to raise money for all personal spending outside of your DTS tuition. This includes money for food during lecture phase, gas, and any fun activities in the city.

IS OUTREACH MANDATORY?
Yes Outreach is mandatory. DTS is a two-part experience signing up is committing to both Lecture and Outreach phase.
