What are the dates?
Camp Starts July 5th 2025 and ends July 12th 2025.

What airport do I need to book flights to?
Campers need to fly in and out of KOA (Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport).

Can I arrive the night before camp starts?
No. Due to our housing capacity on YWAM Kona’s campus, we are unable to house any campers prior to the first night of camp (July 5), or after the last night of camp (July 11).

Will there be airport transportation?
Yes! Airport transportation will start at 7 am July 5th and run all day, and there will be airport transportation all day on July 12.

Do I need to register my child as an unaccompanied minor with the airline?
No. You do not need to register your camper as unaccompanied with the airlines, but the option is available. We have many camp staff that will be ready and looking for your camper once they enter the baggage claim area of the Kona airport.

What should I expect?
Commission Camp is a week-long experience where you will experience the presence of God, find your place in the great commission, and be sent out to put your faith in action.

What ages can come to Commission Camp?
We have a non-negotiable age range of 13-18 year old students. A student needs to be 13 years old, on or before July 5, 2025.

When is payment due?
The total camp fee must be paid in full by June 1st. To secure your spot, a non-refundable $100 deposit is required and should be paid as soon as possible.

Can my friends and I be in the same cabin?
You have the option in our application to submit 2 roommate requests, however it is important to remember no requests are guaranteed. Our housing team has many campers and unique needs to coordinate!

Do I need to bring bedding and towels?
Yes! You will need a pillow, twin sized sheets, and towels. Those will be included in our packing list.
